We recently heard that Mahiya Mahi, one of the popular actresses in
the Bengali Film Industry, may be quitting the industry in order to
continue her studies. While many may have been heart-broken, there were
also those that didn't believe it and called it a hoax in order to boost
popularity of her latest film “Big Brother”. It would seem part of the
hoax is true as Mahi has followed up this news with another status
update stating that she is sorry for causing grief amongst her fans with
her news and that she was considering leaving the industry because she
was depressed about an undisclosed reason. She also said that film is
her life and apologized to all media journalists for the misleading
status and is currently preparing for her role in Agnee 2 and asked for
prayers from her fans.
