Rihanna Deletes Her '#FreePalestine' Tweet

R&B singer Rihanna recently took to Twitter to announce her stand on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, only to remove her post eight minutes later. Then she tried to backtrack by claiming she never posted the tweet, only making matters worse.
“#FreePalestine,” was the message that briefly appeared on her official Twitter page. It was gone eight minutes later and replaced by a more neutral, peace-centric message.
“Let’s pray for peace and a swift end to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict! Is there any hope?…” she later tweeted.
TMZ reports that she never intended to send the original #FreePalestine tweet and didn’t realize that it had been posted to her account. The TMZ sources claim that the singer was reading about the Middle East conflict when a link she clicked sent the tweet for her.
Because seriously, how many times has your Twitter account composed and posted messages all on it’s own? Yeah, we didn’t think so!
