The La Vergne, Tennessee police department sex scandal was a 2023 incident that took place at a La Vergne, Tennessee police station that was hit with allegations of sexual misconduct, after a married female officer, Officer Maegan Hall, allegedly had sex with six male police officers, including on-duty liaisons, according to reports.
Hall and the four other officers were fired in January 2023 after an investigation showed she and other male officers had sex on the job and then lied about it.
Hall, who in 2021 joined the police force, and her fellow police officers allegedly engaged in wild affairs which included the exchanging of nude pictures, Hall removing her top at a hot tub party, having oral sex with two other police officers[5] and threesomes.
Former La Vergne Police Department Chief Burrel "Chip" Davis often joked about Hall's outrageous behavior, one of Davis' jokes was in relation to a 13-minute video that allegedly featured Hall masturbating and was shared with the other male cops. When Sergeant Ty McGowan sent Davis X rated photographs of Hall it was reported that McGowan messaged Davis saying "She has a tight little a– though," to which Davis responded "Yup.
It was also alleged that Hall was accused of having a fetish for black men in court documents. In a new counterclaim obtained by the press, Sergeant Powell, 42, claimed Hall was persistently flirting and pressuring him to engage in sexual relations despite both of them being married to other people.
In the filing it stated "Initially, she began by talking about sex. She complained to Powell that her own marital sex life was unsatisfying." In the countersuit Powell claims that Hall pursued him and sent him explicit texts while working together from March to May 2022.
Powell and Hall began meeting for oral sex after Powell began having issues with his own marriage. The filing also claimed "Consequently, in approximately May 2022, Powell began trying to break things off amicably with Hall, saying that he loved his wife." Hall said allegedly Powell must be a homosexual when he started to reject her advances and included comments about her alleged racial fetish. Hall, who was white, seemed to have a fetish for Powell, who black, based on his race, the suit claimed.
The suit claimed "On multiple occasions, while at work, she told him to put his 'big black d***' in her mouth and 'g**' her with it. When Powell held firm, saying that he wanted to be with his own wife instead, Hall said that he must be a homosexual.
Powell claimed Hall eventually quit pursuing him for sex and began sleeping with multiple other officers instead.
Along with Hall being fired the investigation led to the firings of Police Chief Burrel "Chip" Davis,Sergeant Lewis Powell, Officer Juan Lugo, Sergeant Ty McGowan and Detective Seneca Shields, as per a December 2022 internal investigation.
Two other officers who allegedly had affairs with Hall, Larry Holladay and Patrick Magliocco, held onto their jobs yet were suspended, according to reports. In the December 28 report, Magliocco stated he had seen Holladay and Hall kiss while at a party watching football, and said Hall kissed his own wife, Amy, after discovering they had an open marriage, according to the document.
Maegan Hall stated that she and her husband, Jedidiah Hall, had an open marriage. Jedidiah Hall later told police he "really wasn’t on board" with their open relationship.
Jedidiah Hall, a park ranger, said he was sticking by his wife after finding out she engaged in extramarital sex outside of their marriage.
