Shakib strikes after Mashrafe

Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Mortaza sent back Mohammad Shahzad (31 off 21) while all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan took Shabir Noori (9 off 24) at Mirpur.
Visiting Afghanistan scored 69 runs losing 2 wickets after 15 overs in the first ODI against host Bangladesh at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the capital.

Earlier Tamim Iqbal and Imrul Kayes have given Bangladesh a solid start in the first ODI against Afghanistan at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the capital today.

Bangladesh scored 265 runs losing all wickets against Afghanistan in 50 overs.
To win the innings Afghanistan have to score 266 runs against Bangladesh in the night.

Mahmudullah chipped in with a fine 74-ball 62 while Shakib al Hasan scored 48 runs off 40 balls.
Opening batsman Tamim Iqbal top-scored with 80 runs off 98 balls hitting nine fours with bat.

Soumya was caught by Shabir Noori off a Dawlat Zadran bowling while Imrul scored 37 from 53 balls and struck six fours in his knock.
Earlier winning the toss, the Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Mortaza decided to bat first against the visiting team.
