During summer, grabbing a cold glass of water every chance we get is almost an involuntary action. However, as temperature starts to drop, we are less likely to gulp in water. With the cold weather, a glass of water is not the most tempting thing and sometimes we do without it all day.
But the necessity of drinking abundance of water does not go into hibernation. You might be thinking you are not sweating as much and therefore you could do away with lesser consumption. But this is not true: you may still sweat a lot under the layers of blankets or heavy clothes that you wear.
And keeping out of dehydration is not the only reason why you need to drink water. There are gallons of reasons why you must continue drinking plenty. In fact, water also makes your skin supple, and soft during winter. Not drinking enough water can make you face innumerable problems. The majority of our body consists of water and we use water move and eat and breathe and so on.
Make it a point to have a soup everyday. This, other than being a soothing and comforting food against the cold winter, will also ensure your water intake. Also, make it a habit of drinking tea, if you are already not in it that is.
And, most importantly, carry a water bottle, just like you would in other seasons.
